Son-Kul Lake 2-Day Yurt Experience
About This Tour
At 3,016 meters, Son-Kul is another world: an enormous alpine lake surrounded by endless summer pastures, where shepherd families still live in yurts and horses roam free to the horizon. No fences, no billboards, no noise — just sky, grass and water.
You'll sleep in a real felt yurt, eat home-cooked nomad food, ride horses across the jailoo, and after dark step outside to one of the clearest night skies on Earth — the Milky Way here is so bright it casts shadows. This is the Kyrgyzstan people dream about.
